Dr. Khulida Kirana Yahya is a Professor currently attached to the Human Resource Department at the College of Business, Universiti Utara Malaysia. She received her doctoral degree in HRM from Strathclyde University, Glasgow. She teaches various courses in HRM discipline of the undergraduate and postgraduate levels and supervise post graduate thesis. Formerly she is the Director of Quality and Strategic Management for College of Business from 2011- 2012. She was appointed Deputy Dean of Academic, School of Management, UUM from 2000-2002 and was also entrusted with other managerial functions, including Editor for Malaysia Management Journal and serving on various committees at the University and College level since 1989. Khulida’s research interest centered on the human resource topics of career management, international HRM, change management, performance management, strategic HR and areas related to retirees management. She had been granted research fund from various agencies. She has written books regarding human resource management, as well as published articles in international and local refereed journals. She has presented papers in seminars and conferences locally and internationally. Apart from these, she had been invited to deliver talks at public and private agencies on human resource related topics and appointed as external examiners of PhD thesis, external assessor for human resource programs and courses at various IPTA and IPTS. Her expertise was also sought by JPA as an evaluator for HRM programs of other universities, invited speakers at Public Agencies, intervener at Langkawi International Dialogue (LID), assessors for refereed journals, refereed proceedings and promotion exercises. She had rendered consultancy services to public and private organizations.
