Dr Dani Salleh is Associate Professor at the Department of Planning and Property Development, The Northern University of Malaysia and his current areas of interest include Infrastructure Procurement, Local Government Management, Urban Planning and Urban Re-branding. He has been a Fellow Researcher at Malaysia Northern Corridor Implementation Authority (NCIA). Has presented papers at various national and international conferences and has a number of national and international publications to his credit. He was awarded several research grants to investigate local government procurement matters and in May 2015, he was attached with Australia Centre of Excellent for Local Government (ACELG) at University of Technology of Sydney (UTS) working on proposing national framework toward the establishment Centre Excellent for Local Government. Membership in professional institutes: He was Corporate Member of the Malaysian Institute of Planners; i). Registered Town Planner (TPr); ii). Board of Town Planners Malaysia; iii). Associate Member of Sarawak Development Institute (SDI); and iv).
